It is the wish of the Government of Hong Kong to construct an esplanade or "Storyou" along the sea front of the Praya side in front of all buildings, but in order to carry out the intention it will be necessary to come to an understanding with three pontics who have become proprietors of Marine Lots.
The plan proposed could be as follows. A passage (of say ten feet in width) to be left along the edge of the quay, for the convenience of persons landing goods, this to be divided from the road by posts and chains, or some other suitable fence; then a width of thirty feet of roadway for the use of the public, with a corresponding fence;
